There are many different ways that you can prepare for the OAT. Old textbooks and notes should cover almost everything you need to know, but most students do not have time to go over that much information.
The Pre-Optometry Club offers OAT study books for active members. We also offer a %50 discount on OAT Professor. You can visit www.opted.org for full tests.
Practice tests are given out for free at the testing center on Ferris' campus. They are actually tests from a previous year. The tests include rules for scoring and test preparation advice. They work well as practice guides, but they do not give any solving information.
There are three study guides for the OAT at the Ferris library. Two of these are Rudman's study guides, and although they are outdated, the questions are still very similar to the questions in the latest addition of the book.
